About the Company
AbbVie is one of the world's leading research-based biopharmaceutical companies, developing innovative treatments and sustainable healthcare solutions for serious diseases in the areas of immunology, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, and virology. Patient focus is central, and the company strives to develop specialized treatments and medications for unmet medical needs. Our vision is to improve the lives of people affected by disease. Every year, over 52 million patients in more than 175 countries are treated with AbbVie's medications.
Your Role
AbbVie is now looking for an engaged student for an administrative role within the Medical Affairs team. The team primarily consists of Medical Advisors, who spend a significant amount of time with doctors educating them in various disease areas.
In this role, you will provide administrative support before and after meetings. The work mainly takes place in the MAP system, where there are clear checklists for what needs to be done, approved, and signed before and after each meeting.
You will also support another team, the clinical trials department, with more finance-related tasks such as creating purchase orders and managing invoices. In this work, the SAP system is used.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist Medical Advisors with administration before and after meetings
- Proactively work with broad internal and external contacts to gather necessary information
- Create purchase orders and manage invoices in SAP
Your Profile
We are looking for an engaged and ambitious student who has at least two years left in their studies. We prefer that you study within life sciences or a related field.
For this position, we value that you are structured and proactive in your work approach and have a good ability to handle multiple parallel tasks. You are service-oriented, communicative, and thrive in a role with many contact points.
Scope: In this role, it is advantageous if you can work a few hours a day, about 15 hours a week.
Hybrid Work: We prefer that you are in the office 1–2 days a week. On the remaining days, there is an opportunity to work remotely.
Employment: This is a consulting assignment for an initial year, with good opportunities for extension. You will be employed by Clevry but work at AbbVie.
Recruitment Process
In this recruitment process, AbbVie collaborates with the consulting and recruitment company Clevry. At Clevry, we believe that soft skills are just as important as hard skills. Therefore, in this recruitment, you will have access to a self-assessment test. It takes about 20 minutes to complete the test, after which you will receive a feedback report emailed to you highlighting your soft skills. In a potential interview with Clevry, the answers will be discussed in more detail. You will also be required to answer two skill tests that will be part of the overall assessment.
Keep an eye on your inbox! There you will find a link to the questionnaire.
We apply rolling selection, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. We warmly welcome your application today!
